About This Tool

This tool helps you capture full-length webpages in Google Chrome. While this page can capture the visible portion of the page, for full-page screenshots we’ll show you how to use Chrome’s built-in developer tools.

Capture Visible Content

Click the button below to capture the visible portion of this webpage. This uses html2canvas to convert the DOM to an image.

Full Page Capture in Chrome

To capture a full-length webpage (including content not visible on screen), follow these steps:

  1. Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome
  2. Open Developer Tools by pressing F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Opt+I (Mac)
  3. Press Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) to open the Command Menu
  4. Type “screenshot” and select “Capture full size screenshot”
  5. Chrome will automatically download the full-page screenshot
Note: This method captures the entire webpage as it appears at the moment of capture, including all scrolling content.

Alternative Method: Chrome Extensions

For more advanced screenshot capabilities, you can use Chrome extensions:

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store
  2. Search for “full page screenshot” extensions
  3. Some popular options include “GoFullPage”, “Fireshot”, and “Awesome Screenshot”
  4. Install the extension and follow its instructions
Note: Be cautious when installing extensions and only choose ones with good ratings and reviews.
